Baby tracker apps in Australia, compared (2026)

There isn't one right baby tracker app. It depends on what you need. In Australia, Baby Daybook, Baby Tracker, BabyLog, Glow Baby, Huckleberry, Milkstop and Nara Baby are available in Australia. They differ on what's free, whether a partner can log too, offline logging and export. Prices below come from each app's own pages, checked 14 October 2026.

How we compared these apps

We looked at six things parents often ask about: which platforms each app runs on, what you get for free, the price in Australia, whether a partner or carer can log in the same place, whether logging works offline, and whether you can export your records.

Every detail comes from the company's own website, help pages or pricing page, or from its Australian App Store listing, and is dated. Apps are listed alphabetically, and the order isn't a ranking. We haven't included star ratings. Where a company doesn't say something clearly, we've written "not stated". Where we couldn't confirm a price and its billing period on the company's own pages, we've written "check current pricing" rather than guess.

The apps, one by one

Baby Daybook

Baby Daybook runs on iPhone and Android, and its site lists Apple Watch and Android Watch apps and home-screen widgets. The app is free to download, with a paid Premium plan. Baby Daybook's Premium page lists family sync with partners, grandparents or a nanny, unlimited history, statistics and PDF export as Premium features. Its site doesn't list prices, and the AU App Store shows several Premium price points, so check current pricing in your App Store before you start.

Baby Tracker (Nighp)

Baby Tracker is made by Nighp Software and runs on iPhone, iPad and Android. Its FAQ explains how to create a sync group so several devices share the same records, across both iOS and Android. It also supports backups to iCloud or Dropbox. Nighp's site doesn't list prices or say what's free, and the AU App Store shows several in-app purchases, so check current pricing in your App Store.

BabyLog

BabyLog describes itself as made for parenting in Australia. It's on the App Store as BabyLog AU: Baby Tracker for iPhone, and also runs as a web app you can install on phones and tablets. Its pricing page says the Free plan includes all 12 log types, offline logging, caregiver sharing and CSV import and export. Partners or grandparents join with a 6-digit code, as editors or view-only. In the AU App Store, BabyLog Pro is A$8 a month or A$64 a year, with a 14-day free trial (checked 26 October 2026).

Glow Baby

Glow Baby is part of the Glow family of apps and runs on iPhone and Android. Glow's FAQ says the baby tracker is free to download and use for feeds, nappies, sleep, growth, pumping and daily routines. You can invite a partner or carer by email. Glow's site says Glow Premium adds extra charts and reports, PDF and CSV export and an ad-free experience. Glow quotes about $60 a year for one user or $90 a year for a family plan, without a currency, so check current pricing in your App Store.

Huckleberry

Huckleberry runs on iOS and Android. Its help centre says the free version includes basic logging tools and reports, and that partners share by signing in to the same account on each phone. Logging works offline and syncs later. You can export a CSV per child, though Huckleberry doesn't say whether that's free or paid. Paid Plus and Premium plans are listed in the AU App Store at several price points without billing periods, so check current pricing on Huckleberry's pricing page or in your App Store.

Milkstop

Milkstop suits parents who want one simple log the whole household can add to. Milkstop is free to use, with no subscriptions and no feature paywalls. You can log feed and sleep sessions as they happen or afterwards, plus nappies and growth. Share an invite code and your partner or carer logs in the same household log, which syncs when online. It's offline-first, so you can keep logging without signal. Milkstop is an iPhone app and a web app that works in Chrome on Android. There's no Android app. There's a dark mode for night feeds too, with Light, Dark and System options. System follows your device's appearance. You can export your records as CSV or PDF, up to 5 exports per hour per household.

Nara Baby

Nara Baby runs on iPhone, Apple Watch and Android, and also covers pregnancy and postpartum. Going by Nara's FAQ, new families get a 7-day trial, then choose a monthly or lifetime plan to keep adding entries. Without a plan you can still view and export your records as CSV. Nara says one plan covers unlimited caregivers. In the AU App Store, plans are listed from A$9.99 a month, with lifetime options from A$79.99. More detail is on our Nara Baby alternative page.

Questions to ask before you choose

Sharing a log with your partner

Most of these apps let more than one person log, but how they do it varies. Some use an invite code, some an email invite, and some ask you both to sign in to the same account. In Milkstop, you share your household's invite code from Settings, your partner joins from the same screen, and you both log in one household log that syncs when online. There's more on setting up a shared household in our help pages.

Getting started with your log

Keep it light. A log is there to save you doing sums at 3am, not to give you another job. Log as you go, or add it afterwards if you forget. A quick note after a breastfeed can help jog your memory later; our guide to logging breastfeeding sides and notes walks through the options. Nappies take one tap, and keeping track of nappies has more. You'll find all our guides at /guides.

FAQs

How do I choose a baby tracker app in Australia?

It depends on what you need. Compare what's free, whether a partner can log, offline logging and export in the table above.

Is there a free baby tracking app for both parents?

Yes. Milkstop is free to use, with no subscriptions and no feature paywalls, and your household shares one log via an invite code. BabyLog's Free plan includes caregiver sharing (BabyLog pricing page, checked 14 October 2026). Check each app's own pages, as sharing is a paid feature on some.

Which baby tracker apps work offline?

Milkstop is offline-first and syncs when you're back online. BabyLog's pricing page says it works offline, and Huckleberry's help centre says logging works offline and syncs later. The other apps here don't state it clearly on their own pages (checked 14 October 2026).

How much does Nara Baby cost in Australia?

In the AU App Store, Nara Baby plans are listed from A$9.99 a month, with lifetime options from A$79.99, after a 7-day trial (checked 14 October 2026). For Huckleberry, the AU App Store lists several Plus and Premium price points without billing periods, so check current pricing on Huckleberry's own pricing page.

Is there an Australian baby tracker app?

Yes. BabyLog describes itself as made for parenting in Australia. Milkstop is built by a Sunshine Coast dad.

Can I use a baby tracker on Android and iPhone together?

Yes. Baby Daybook, Baby Tracker, Glow Baby, Huckleberry and Nara Baby say they run on both. BabyLog has an iPhone app and a web app you can install on phones and tablets. Milkstop is an iPhone app and a web app that works in Chrome on Android; there's no Milkstop Android app.

Is there a baby tracker with a dark mode for night feeds?

Milkstop does. You can pick Light, Dark or System, and System follows your device's light or dark appearance. Other apps may have one too, so check their own pages.

Can I track twins in a baby tracker app?

Yes. Milkstop tracks more than one baby in one app, so twins or siblings each get their own records, and you can set each baby's units separately. Everyone in your household can log for each baby, and you switch between babies to see each one's timeline. For other apps, check their own pages for how they handle more than one baby.
